the coke side of life

@Ogilvy Singapore, 2006

The first ‘big thing’ I got to work on as a Jr. AD & visualizer was to adapt the great Weiden + Kennedy campaign for “Australasia”.

Levis, Roadwear

@BBH Singapore, 2011

Working with Douglas Hamilton and our long time Levis client we devised a campaign that would take us on a road trip to Joshua Tree, require us to LARP as a failing rock band, while documenting the entire journey with photographer Ben Sullivan.

We returned with. too many photos and some really worn in denim that were then scanned and rendered into the most beautiful maps by Kristal Melson. It became the first clothing collection you could explore on Google maps.

Vaseline, Stuntman

@BBH, Singapore, 2010

One of my favorite shoots of all time, we made an enitre restaurant out of foam core to sell a whitening cream to dudes.

The Economist, Helicopter

@Ogilvy Singapore, 2008

My mentor and ECD Eugene Cheong gifted me this wonderful idea, told me that it had to look like I spent 3 months drawing this, so I did.

Chupa Chups, Scream Stopper

@BBH Singapore, 2010

A Halloween idea we had, we partnered with the Shaw Brothers cinema chain to distribute lollipops as adult pacifiers during Halloween Horror movie screenings.

New Balance,
The Daily Grind

@Ogilvy Singapore, 2009

Back when I used to pitch spec work this print almost made it / failed to launch - a series of posters embellishing the demons that keep runners running.

Illustrated by Eric Foenander, there’s a bunch of my colleagues getting squished up and reconstituted in here.

Chupa Chups, Life Less Serious

@BBH Singapore 2010

At some point Chupa Chups let us run its social media account with a muppet named Chuck. We made some pretty silly things, from shrines, to suckable audio companions, a facebook game, a suckable joystick, and a DIY valentine Chupa.

Eno, Shibuya

@Ogilvy Singapore, 2006

My first D&AD pencil was for helping Maurice Wee
& Renee Lim illustrate a very elaborate fart joke.

Changi Prison Museum

@Ogilvy Singapore, 2005

During my internship at Ogilvy Singapore CD & writer Steve Hough asked me to research a bunch of facts about WW2 atrocities for Changi Prison Museum. We ended up collecting a bunch of dead roaches and Steve held one up to make this photo.
