We knew GOT fans would go to great lengths for new game of thrones content, so we turned their blood lust on themselves, asking them to sacrifice their own blood (or even plasma) #ForTheThrone.

A one of a kind experience only blood could buy

Starting at SXSW, we worked with Giant Spoon and the Red Cross to create an immersive experience that only your blood could buy.

A Bloody new look

One of the more challenging aspects of the campaign was crafting a look that set it apart from all other show marketing but was simple and bold enough to be adapted all across the world.

Working with he incredibly talented Gian Gallang, we landed on a simple and bold blood-splat iron throne, as well as a series of portraits.

 
 

More than half a million donors world wide

We then opened up the challenge up to the world, 43 out of 50 states took part with some 350,000 people contributing from the United States alone, while countries as far out as Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Botswana, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Serbia , Greece and Croatia, all ran their own drives.
