Game of thrones is famous for ruthlessly killing off it’s beloved characters, so to give America a taste of the show’s ruthlessness, we took out one of it’s beloved beer Mascots - the Bud Knight.

“When HBO made its approach in August, Bud Light executives and its ad firm Wieden + Kennedy learned this wasn’t going to be an ordinary ad: The script called for the Bud Knight to get his head crushed while fighting the Mountain, a fearsome warrior, in a joust”

The production was an epic collaboration between that took almost 9 months to negotiate, cement and produce. Directed by Game of Thrones Director David Nutter, and Bud Light Director Spencer Oliviera, every detail and second was poured over.
